Sluggish internet 'may spark exodus'

SLOW internet speeds could cause businesses and residents to move out of Somerton and Langport, the leader of a computer skills club has warned.

Superfast broadband has still not been earmarked for the area despite targets for 95 per cent of the country to be upgraded by 2017.

Ivor Dixon, who runs computer group NetBuddies, is concerned that rural areas are being left behind.
