NORTH Dorset and Chard will go head to head this season as they compete for the first time in South West One.
While Gillingham-based North get their season underway on September 1 at home to giants Bridgwater and Albion, Chard travel to Thornbury. Also in the division are the likes of Clevedon and Cullompton and Cornwall outfits Camborne and Wadebridge.
North chairman Nigel Mattravers said: "We are all very excited about the forthcoming season and looking forward to playing major clubs in Somerset, Devon and the Bristol area for the first time in our 60-year history."
Chard seconds start life in Somerset One against Wellington seconds on the same day as their first team, while the thirds travel to their Yatton counterparts on September 15.
