YEOVIL and Sherborne ladies' first XI celebrated their return to action after postponements with a 3-1 win over Newquay.
After an extended break due to snow, Yeovil dominated possession from the off, spurning early chances before Steph Chant latched onto Georgie Belt's pass to fire home.
They doubled their lead in style before the break when Belt followed up her assist with a trademark finish. Yeovil picked up from where they left off in the second half and made it 3-0 when Izzy Chicocka slammed the ball into the roof of the net from a penalty flick.
Newquay grabbed a late consolation but Yeovil eased home and now sit five points clear at the top of the league with a game in hand.
An Alice Davies hat-trick helped Yeovil seconds thrash Salisbury fourths 6-0. Davies gave the visitors the lead from the first attack of the game, before Lily Kitto doubled Yeovil's advantage and Davies added a third before half-time.
Davies completed her trio shortly after the break before two Natalie Beauford goals topped off a fantastic performance for the table-toppers.
An Alex Hardick strike earned Yeovil and Sherborne A a 1-1 draw at Truro B. After falling behind in the first half, Hardick salvaged the game for the visitors when his reverse stick effort found the back of the net. Yeovil A pushed for a late winner but ran out of time as they settled for a point.
Goals from Bill Bibby and Tim Hotham gave Yeovil B a 2-1 victory over West Dorset. Yeovil C thrashed East Devon C 5-0, with two goals from Barrie Izard and strikes from Steve Fudge, George Lawson and Kern Vickers ensuring a dominant victory.
Yeovil's men's first string were thumped 12-2 by Plymouth University whilst the thirds ran out 4-0 winners at home to Bournemouth fourths.
