LACY underwear dangling from Christmas displays in Langport have been defended as "just a bit of fun".
Eyebrows have been raised by locals after a bra and suspenders were hung up with white icicle-themed bunting in Bow Street.
Terry Irwin, owner of the Pet Shop, said the majority of his customers have complained to him about the decorations.
But others have defended the undergarments.
Peter Ridley, right, from the Kitchen bakery, said he felt most people liked them.
And town councillor Val Saunders said: "It was put up just as a bit of fun – I have seen people hooting with laughter."
